- Project Description:A next-generation cross-asset data management platform to provide globally consistent data and innovative tools to support business strategy for trade/sales clients that is built on big data architecture, highly scalable, and cloud-ready. The platform enables industry-leading analytics, client reporting, regulatory compliance, surveillance, supervisory reporting, and data science solutions (data flame). The project tech stack: Java, Scala, Spring, SQL, Kafka, Hadoop.We are looking for a strong Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with SQL experience capable of creating reporting framework and setting up the groundwork for the creation of Tableau reporting via Dashboards and scheduled reporting. The ideal candidate will help to ensure the highest level of quality of a product being developed while working very closely with different stakeholders spread globally.The role of the Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer involves working with strong development teams. The opportunity to work with big data improving knowledge in this domain by utilizing the resources of an international bank.
- Responsibilities:• Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions• Crafting and executing queries upon request for data• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses• Presenting information through reports and visualization• Collaborate and work closely with business partners to understand the functional requirements and develop reporting solutions tailored to the business needs• Translate business needs to technical specifications• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Mandatory Skills Description:• Strong Experience in Tableau• SQL and Data Analyst experience.• Proven experience as BI developer• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining• Understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.• Team player, good on communication with Business Analysts or Traders, Highly Motivated, quick learner, general interest in Equity/Equity Derivatives Trading Business.• Exposure to Equities business• Must have worked in Agile [min 2+ years]• Must have good analytical & logical skills• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication
