- Communicate with Client and Business Users to understand specific Business/System requirements.
- Translate the Business Requirements of users into requirement specifications.
- Design and develop DataStage jobs to ensure all the business requirements are met.
- Design and develop the PL/SQL procedures as per the design documents
- Design and develop the Cognos Reports as per the design documents
- Diagnosing problems and analysing change impacts during minor enhancements
- Integrating the system with new/enhanced applications and involving in project discussion with other interfacing projects
- Perform Root Cause analysis for User requests
- Perform Data analysis and provide short-term and long-term fixes for all data issues
- Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
- Attend Status Meetings on a weekly basis
- Follow Agile framework prescribed by the customer
- Work with geographically distributed teams to deliver the activities in agreed timelines.
