In order to capitalize on our success and continued growth plans we are seeking an Information Security Engineer, based in NJ. As a senior member of the Information security team, this role will be taking a lead in engineering various security solutions and managing implementation of security technologies for Tradeweb's enterprise technology. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in multiple domains of security and should be able to design and implement high impacting solutions across the organization. The role will also have an opportunity to work with subject matter experts not only within security, but across infrastructure, network, development, and business teams. We look to hire people who are comfortable in working with minimal supervision as part of a team that has consistently delivered ground-breaking and innovative solutions in one of the most exciting and fast-moving areas of the of the financial markets. We need people who are able to prioritize and can effectively communicate complex issues to non-technical team members. We need someone who has business experience in the Financial Industry, who can meet with our internal and external clients and talk confidently about our Cyber Security program, and help integrate our business needs with our Cyber Security needs. Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Architecture, design and implement various security controls in a complex network infrastructure.
  • Responsible for administration and monitoring of various security systems
  • Lead product selection efforts, including defining evaluation criteria and test plans.
  • Will be part of the team responsible for engineering and implementing various security projects.
  • Serve as an internal information security advisor and subject matter expert to the organization on various security initiatives.
  • Introduce best practices and principles to enable consistent delivery and enable alignment with long-term direction.
  • Collaborate with business units and corporate partners to ensure solutions are built in consistent with the organization's policies, programs, architectural recommendations, and information security standards
  • Understand the common types of cyber-attacks and countermeasures in the industry and engage with the business units to resolve within SLAs.
  • Create and maintain technical process documentation (procedures and playbooks) for security systems/processes.
  • Manage simultaneous projects, be part of troubleshooting and reacts to system/network security incidents.
  • Set goals and manage projects.
  • Develop, build and implement a mature and robust set of metrics and reports.

Required Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of security engineering, systems/data/network security, authentication, security protocols, data governance, IR, cryptography, etc.
  • Ability in conducting technical architecture and or design discussions.
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management platforms (CyberArk, Centrify, Thycotic), Identify and Access Management.
  • Experience with firewalls (Paloalto, Checkpoint, Fortinet), intrusion detection/prevention systems, DDOS mitigation technologies, Web Proxies, WAF on Load Balancers.
  • Experience with SSO and federation standards such as SAML, OIDC and MFA.
  • Understating of Data Governance, DLP and IAM principles and practices.
  • Experience with analyze/implement best practice configuration standards for systems and network devices.
  • Knowledge with CASB, and cloud environments (Iass, SaaS and PaaS).
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms (Splunk, ELK), logical thinking and ability to create searches, dashboards, etc. preferred.
  • Experience in automation skills with Python, PowerShell and any other automation tools.
  • Expert knowledge of security industry standards and best practices NIST, CSA, CIS etc.
  • Ability to communicate risks and security issues to peers and management.
  • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
  • Ability to manage and lead complex enterprise wide projects and multi-task.
  • Experience with preparing standards/guidelines, playbooks and procedure documents.
  • Strong critical thinking, deductive reasoning, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with managing projects, skills to prioritize project and tasks to meet deadlines.
  • CISSP, CISM or equivalent qualifications preferred. CISSP, CISM or equivalent qualifications preferred.
