- Visualize, conceptualize and document application designs and complex systems/database integrations (web, desktop, database and REST services).
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts and project management to convey design concepts.
- Collaborate with database architects to design/build database components to support your designs.
- Code application prototypes and help code technically complex components throughout the development phase.
- Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
- Provide technical leadership for team members during the development phase. Lead peer code reviews and provide feedback for other team members.
- Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff, senior management and team members.
- Proficient in designing/coding web, desktop, database, and REST services using .NET, SQL Server and Javascript frameworks (C#, MVC, Razor, Angular/2, Durandal, WEB-API).
- Ability to assume technical leadership and take ownership of projects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ability to lead JAD sessions with business teams and communicate well with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to make key technical/design decisions without direction.
- Ability to resolve and document complex technical and environmental problems.
- Strong understanding of SQL Server and T-SQL code with the ability to write and maintain SQL stored procedures, functions and views.
- Knowledge of DevOps best practices, CI/CD methodologies a big plus.
- Experience with AWS/cloud application architecture and design a big plus.
