A services company in New Jersey is looking to add a new Technical Project Manager for a promising opportunity with their growing staff. In this role, the Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading Agile development projects independently with minimal assistance or lead sub-projects with guidance from a Program Manager. This is a hybrid role requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least one day a week.
Responsibilities: The Technical Project Manager will:- Takes responsibility for the successful delivery of the project.
- Serves as liaison between Development and Business to ensure smooth communication and prioritization of work
- Leads Agile teams to achieve the objectives of the project.
- Proactively takes the initiative to identify and resolve issues impacting the development team
- Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project, including the provision and use of contingency for those risks which are to be managed.
- Communicates with all stakeholders of the project based on their needs.
- 4+ years of experience as a Project Master and/or Scrum Master for a Software Development team
- Bachelor's Degree
- Working knowledge of Agile Project Life Cycles (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Confluence, Jira)
- Demonstrated an understanding of Project Management concepts
- Familiarity with basic development technologies and skills
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
