Systems Programmer Analyst Sr

Job Description

Join us as a Systems Programmer Analyst Sr The Systems Programmer Analyst acts as a mediator between technical and business user groups during the critical requirements phase of a development project. They are responsible for directing the day-to-day functions of the members of his/her team as well as technical responsibilities including designing codes and applications along with performing analysis for problem resolution.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

    • Work with business and system analysts to analyze business requirements into data-aspect CSD
    • Manage application design through the various lifecycle stages from business need through design and delivery.
    • Design, development, and delivery of effective business applications.
  • Consistent practice in coding and unit testing
  • Conduct code reviews for the team and have well establish standards and practices for the team
    • Maintain issue log; coordinate and support communications surrounding both systems and user acceptance for assigned project(s).
    • Identify and eliminate miscommunications between business and technical project team members.
    • Facilitate the definition of functional requirements by working with programmer analysts and users in prototyping and design sessions.
    • Translate and present project concepts into effective visual images which clarify design elements and issues for both business and technical audiences.
    • Designs/codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools.
    • Performs analysis oversight during initial design and problem solving of programming assignments.

Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
    • Strong knowledge of architectural principles, frameworks, design patterns and industry best practices for design and development .
    • 5

      + years of hands-on development experiences on relational databases primarily Oracle
    • Strong hands-on experience in SQL Query and Performance tuning
    • Strong Hands-on experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Stored procedures, Triggers, Oracle AQ and Perl scripting
    • Experience working with Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies
    • Strong experience in designing efficient and robust database application.
    • Experience in Agile development environment
    • End-to-end development life-cycle support and SDLC processes
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • At least 3 years of product development experience, including experience in a team lead role.
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
    • Good communicator, keen to collaborate and share knowledge
    • Ability to translate customer input and ideas into functional requirements specifications .
    • Coaches, mentors, and delegates work to team members.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex SQL
