Position: UI/UX Designer (NJ/NY - Diversity Local)

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Duration: Full Time

WEEKEND DRIVE -Key Requirements:Minimum 10+years industry experience as a User Experience designer for enterprise application in financial industry ; Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, Information Science or related field required.An ability to create prototypes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Excellent skills in professional design tools e.g., Sketch, Figma, AdobeXD, Axure, InVision etc.Excellent communication and presentation skills for audience such as financial industry product owners and business leaders.Plan and perform UX research, define IA, user journeys, and create personasEnsure all designs comply with ADA/WCAG standards for accessibilityExperience across all phases of the design process, from discovery and design into development and releaseStrong, modern visual design sense but are comfortable working within an established design system and following brand guidelines when needed.Strategic problem-solving skills and a capacity to distill complex Global Financial information into meaningful concepts, Patterns and Layouts.Essential Functions:Design journey maps, navigation design, sitemaps, detailed wireframes, UI design, and more.Lead experience assessments, analyzing user feedback to uncover insights that enhance the user experience.Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to gather and interpret business requirements with varied data elements and incorporate them into designs.Champion, own and maintain the design system for all technology products.Help plan and conduct user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, and heuristic analysis.Ability to continuously simplify business processes into intuitive and elegant UIs leveraging UI technologies such as Angular 7/8.Create the UX artifacts needed to articulate a design, whether whiteboard sketches, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity visual design mock-ups or interactive prototypes.Work closely with application developers & Architects to ensure that the UI layout and elements are well integrated into the application.
