Spherion Staffing is recruiting for 2 local companies (Matawan & Tinton Falls) in need of Telemarketers to assist in their Sales Departments. These positions will entail cold-calling, therefore a successful candidate will be goal oriented with a passion for growing a profitable company. Candidates must be comfortable selling product over the phone and can handle rejection professionally.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position requires an individual to have strong phone and interpersonal skills- will be working with external customers as well as multiple internal departments.
The position will follow up with potential customers to gauge interest.
Handle outgoing calls from interested customers and forward to the necessary department.
Candidates should possess an ability to learn and retain new information and concepts.
Candidates should be able to multitask
Must be able to navigate complex computer systems and willing to handle rejection.
Experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Flexible hours (Full-Time or Part-Time) hourly pay + ability to earn commissions!
REQUIREMENTS:
HS diploma
Experience in a phone based position preferred
Must have strong communication skills
Must have strong computer skills
Must be willing to make 30-40 calls per hour
