Title:Patient Experience Manager Duration: 07 months Location: Princeton, NJ-50% Hybrid Pay: $50-60/hr on w2 Job Description: Client is a global Biopharma company committed to a single mission: to Client, develop, and deliver innovative medicines focused on helping millions of patients around the world in disease areas such as oncology, cardiovascular, immunology and fibrosis. The Patient Voice and Experience team partners with patients in bringing forward authentic stories and perspectives to develop content, share feedback or for live engagements. The 'voice of the patient' work aims to inform and inspire others, both internally and externally to the organization. This role will directly support the Patient Voice Lead for assigned therapeutic areas and is responsible for the execution of integrated process and procedures that support patient events and engagements, ensuring that all patients that interact with Client have a positive experience. Development of strong relationships and connections with contracted patients is an important role of the Experience Manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patients, be a compelling communicator and have a keen attention to detail and the nuances that drive great experiences and will play a key role in support of commercial launch priorities. This position is based in Lawrenceville, NJ at the Princeton Pike office complex. Moderate travel may be required. Responsibilities: Develop strong, supportive business connection to assigned disease area as well as other functions within Patient Voice and Experience team. Working with the Patient Voice Leads, the Manger is the first line of contact with patients to identify participants by conducting interest & assessment of patients/caregivers on all projects and events via direct communications with the patient (explains contracting and proposed engagement and beginning the contracting process). Responsible for ensuring that all patient contracting and service provider agreements are properly executed, contain all necessary information, and that Client is compliant with those executed agreements. Included here is all third party interaction, input project details into the Veeva system for engagement, provide contracting and logistical details to vendor partners. Executing proper patient compensation and helping the patients with OOP expense review and submission, resolve payment issues (changed bank, wrong address, obtain approvals, etc.) Collaborating closely with the Voice Leads, the Manager is also responsible for coordinating a significant portion of the logistics of patient events to make sure the patient is comfortable in all travel and living arrangements while engaged with Client. This may include, in some instances, the need for the manager to provide on-site support. Supporting the Voice Lead in project management activities of select engagements or events. Providing backup support to the Patient Recruitment function to assist in screening, interviews and health updates. In general, the Manager should have a good understanding of contracted patient profiles and patient status (e.g., health, disease state and contracting, etc.) and be able to make patient recommendations to Program Leads for engagement events. The Manager is also responsible for making sure that the Patient Link in-house database is up to date and that each patient profile is clear, accurate, and easy to understand. The Manager may need to flex as needed to support engagement work across the team in areas of highest demand. Individual Requirements: To be successful, the individual must possess a passion for our patients, and have a demonstrated ability to build strong relationship with others,. Strong written and interpersonal communications skills. A track record of creative problem solving and strong attention to detail. S/he should possess and have a proven record of accomplishment in project management, managing multiple priorities and delivering on commitments. Accomplished professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in scientific, medical, brand, agency or commercial operations The successful candidate will be self-motivated with a roll-up the sleeves mentality and strong sense of urgency, able to learn quickly and to operate within a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be comfortable learning and embracing large-scale systems and processes. Bachelor's degree is required.
