Financial Svc Representative(Full-Time, Day)Req #:0000088183Category:Clerical / Administrative SupportStatus:Full-TimeShift:DayFacility:Cooperman Barnabas Medical CenterLocation:Patient Financial Services, 94 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039JOB SUMMARY:The financial service representative ensures all accounts have accurate information, including but not limited to charging, insurance information, patient demographics, authorization requirements, and billing codes where applicable etc. in order to bill in accordance will all hospital policies and federal/state/billing regulations. The financial service representative s main function is to review all accounts assigned and work with all applicable departments to obtain all information necessary for proper billing.EDUCATION:High school diploma or equivalent
REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of three years of business office or patient access experience preferred
Successful completion of all orientation programs
