We continue to lead the system in HCAHPS scores, and are looked to as a model for best practice in patient satisfaction.Summary of Job Function:The Scheduler provides clerical and receptionist support for the unit and is the communication link of the multidisciplinary team. The position also requires scheduling operative procedures via walk-in, telephone and fax requests, using knowledge of procedures, area of body involved, equipment conflicts, staffing, surgeon preferences, scheduling habits and suite utilization. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.Job Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent.
