Job Description

Support our Residential Aged Care Home’s to investigate and respond to complaints in a professional and ethical manner. This newly created position is available on a permanent part-time basis (3 days per week) and will join our Quality and Care team in Macquarie Park.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Investigate, recommend action, and respond to complaints, ensuring the highestpossible standard of service is provided toour Homesand stakeholders.
  • Prepare and finalise written responses toexternal complaint agencies and internal complainantsasdirected by theInvestigations Manager.
  • Identify potential/actual risks associated with complaints and liaise with(including escalation)appropriate personnel both within and outsideCHL.
  • Ensure thatall complaintsmanaged centrallyare appropriately recorded innominateddatabase, and more.

To be considered a successful candidate, you will possess the following:

  • Qualifications in Nursing and/or other relevant healthcare experience such as Quality & Risk.
  • Qualifications or recent relevant experience in Complaints Resolution.
  • Comprehensive understanding Aged Care Principals, ACQSC Standards.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including the capacity for effective communication, negotiation and conflict resolution and the ability to deal sensitively and compassionately with people.
  • Demonstrated high level ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff, management, and internal and external complaints representatives/officers.
