Job Summary: You will be responsible for the implementation and support of interfaces between our client's systems and customer's systems. You are at the beginning of this career path and open to grow and develop into an experienced Implementation Analyst. Job Responsibilities:- You will perform and facilitate testing and support, provide overall project leadership to ensure hospital and Physician client interfaces conform to the client's HL7 standards.
- You will be responsible for multiple implementations or conversion projects.
- Participate in information gathering for interface requirements and providing project status updates.
- Educate and directly interacts with the client to help them understand the benefits and limitations of their specific EMR/LIS-Interface during implementation.
- Provide direct interaction with client and client's vendor - designs and oversees interface implementation project plan.
- Providing communications such as go-live notices, support documentation, and operational checklists to our internal organization relative to any new or change to the existing client interface.
- Implementation of communication scripts and protocols to include VPN and frame and web services.
- Provide 3rd tier support (as defined in the Support SOP) to EMR/LIS-Interface related problems.
- Responsible for escalating implementation and support issues to appropriate persons or groups for resolution and also provide post-implementation support.
- Required 2years' plus experience in medical lab operations and/or IT functions.
- Experience in Hospital LIS system is ideal (Meditech, Cerner, Epic, etc.)
- Exposure to the clinical healthcare environment.
- Working knowledge of testing life cycle, including accessioning, resulting, and report compare.
- Ability to understand HL7 standards and previous experience with message structure.
- Proficiency in working with Microsoft office suite and familiar with Excel, Outlook, and MS Project.
- Familiarity with Access and commercial Integration Engine Product is a plus, including Cloverleaf and Rhapsody.
- This position may require some travel.
