The Mental Health Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating patient care activities. ResponsibilitiesA day in the life of a Mental Health Supervisor at Hackensack Meridian Healthincludes: Assure that requirements for certification, licensure and accreditation are met and maintained.2. Available for individual case consultation on as needed basis.3. Reviews clinical assessments, treatment plans and the clinical record as a whole and provides feedback to team members.4. Works together with the program medical director to solve problems.5. Maintains 'open door' policy for staff in order to voice complaints, concerns or ideas.6. Regularly schedules and/or conducts team meetings, huddles.7. Consults with and advises program manager of problems related to clinical operation within the program, documentation and adherence to BHS standards.8. Coordinates and/or participates in community benefit activities such as health fairs and conferences.9. Is an active participant in outside professional organizations as required/needed.10. Functions as a clinician on a limited basis by completing intake assessments, carrying a caseload, providing individual counseling and facilitating groups weekly.11. Observes clinician's performance during patient treatment and provides feedback to team members.12. Supervises referrals for the program, setting intake appointments, troubleshooting issues with the call center.13. Other duties and/or projects as assigned.14. Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

QualificationsEducation, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: MSW, LCSW (will consider LSW with significant pre-Master's experience) - MA, LPC (will consider LAC with significant pre-Master's experience)2. Minimum of 2 years Post Masters experience

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

Crisis and/or screening experience.2. Previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

LSW or LAC2. LCSW or LPC
