For our direct client, a global firm, we seek several experienced Azure engineers to provide leadership in the application infrastructure group. In this role, the Engineering Lead will provide leadership on multiple projects related to deploying and supporting enterprise-level custom applications deployed on Azure instancesThese are multi-year contract positions, work can be done remotely on East Coast hours, since there is a head office in northern NJ, living in the Tri-State NY/NJ/CT area and being able to visit monthly for meetings is a plus. The client is a large Microsoft environment with cutting-edge technologies being engineered and deployed. Duties include:– Managing the engineering projects and POCs, understand and drive what needs to be done– Review documentation such as installation guides, wiki pages, etc. for accuracy prior to releases– Help maintain a structured, accurate environment to effectively deploy applications on Azure across multiple countries and Azure instances. – Lead onshore and offshore team members– Do research on POC's and new Azure services and integrations– Work effectively with business stakeholders as well as across various technical teamsExperience/Skills needed:– Windows Server engineering experience, strong prior virtualization experience, with current Azure PAAS knowledge ie:

- – Azure Kubernetes (AKS)
- – Azure Application Gateway
