Overview

  • This position is responsible for planning and project management, complex problem resolution, and advanced production support for the Bank's systems infrastructure. Provides expert guidance and mentorship on system technical support, maintenance, and enhancement. Leads the administration of software and hardware that supports customer sales and service applications. Installs, automates, and tests infrastructures for continuous improvement. Monitors overall systems performance to identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Addresses failed components or technical issues and provides resolution. Oversees the work of less experienced associates and serves as a technical resource to wider business unit.
Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans, test scripts and test methodologies to ensure compliance with system specifications.
  • Work closely with software developers to develop test specifications and build test cases to rigorously test product functionality and investigate all potential product test failures.
  • Document test results, analysis reports, logs, and metrics.
  • Participate in all aspects of SDLC including analysis, design, development, testing, production deployment, and support
  • The position requires close collaboration with business analysts, development and the lines of business
  • Design, create and maintain test plans and test cases
  • Perform extensive functionality, integration, regression, interoperability and end-to-end system testing independently and with team assistance
  • Work closely with development and business teams to ensure that the highest quality software is deployed in accordance with delivery timelines
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and isolate defects and report them to a bug tracking tool
  • Communicate technical concepts/issues clearly to colleagues and review documents for technical content and accuracy
  • Takes initiative to resolve issues and tackle roadblocks
  • Analyze and review the test results, share them with teams and business
  • Ensures QA standards are maintained and followed across the projects and phases
  • Prioritize test conditions by working closely with the project team to determine priorities
  • Identifies and analyses the Risk at an early stage of the project and come up with mitigation plans as needed
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or related field of study
  • 3+ years' experience with testing on a Salesforce application preferably an integration project with Lightning
  • Salesforce Classic experience is helpful
  • 3+ years' experience in Jira/ Azure DevOps and other related tools required
  • Experience aligning QA processes with Agile/Scrum methodology, sprint planning, and execution
  • Experience with defining and reporting QA metrics for defined releases
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology
  • 2+ years' experience in SQL required
  • 4+ years of experience in the Banking and financial domain
  • Selenium experience is helpful
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Candidate should be: a team player, self-motivated, eager to learn, result oriented, able to work independently, have a strong attention to detail and be able to think creatively
