This position is Hybrid in Newark, NJ, and the candidate will have to be onsite for 3 days/week)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Thorough working knowledge of SDLC models/methodologies, IT System and processes, and project management practices
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to achieve the goals of the project
  • Ensure that all phases of the project are delivered on-time, within scope and work remains aligned with the project’s strategies and goals
  • Work with vendor and key project lead to ensure project scope and objectives are being met
  • Provide guidance to area leads, project team and vendor resources
  • Support the development and deployment of project management standards, guidelines and processes. Ensure resource availability and continuous allocation
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management key impacting issues
  • Perform risk management to assess project impact and effectiveness of mitigation strategies
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors project management and technical leads
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints where appropriate
  • Jointly develop with the team a comprehensive project plan that aligns with the vendors work effort as well as the organizations time and budgetary constraints

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Client-facing and internal communication skills.
