IaaS / Automation with Python. Cisco driven and need experience with FMC, FTD, ACI, ISE-PIC, NDO, and APIC.Your Team & Role As a Lead, Infrastructure Developer on the Network Product Team you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, software engineers and delivery professionals to

improve the company Global Extranet environments.

You will develop software and automated solutions to manage the lifecycle of infrastructure services as we solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services, and experiences to delight our customers! In addition to advanced technical expertise and experience, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus. Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day
  • Plan, administer, and support Cisco IT infrastructure software and systems as code. Develop software and automated solutions to manage the lifecycle of infrastructure services, with expertise in modern Cloud platforms as well as traditional on-premise environments
  • Accelerate application development by delivering automation and APIs to support infrastructure services that are consumed through self-service portals, and resilient, reliable compliant corporate policies
  • Responsible for implementing and enforcing controls to maintain the security posture and standards of infrastructure services by developing Best Practices and working with software developers and partner teams for implementation
  • Designing, managing, planning and supporting of Extranet B2B, Hybrid Cloud, and Vendor VDI secured connectivity models and solutions.
  • Collaborate in launch of new agile DevOps release model for supporting new site deployments leveraging new IaaC solutions.
  • Support and provision Cisco network ACI Fabric and MSO / APIC
  • Manage Cisco FMC, FTD & ISE EVT-Agent Firewall Policy and Administration as it pertains to current production support and future strategy solutions including API integration
  • Perform Firewall & SEIM/Splunk log queries and/or analysis as well as Firewall configuration for planned changes or production investigations or incidents
  • Develop automated site documentation solutions for runbook & production turnover support
  • Support Split Managed Site to Site VPN connections w/ traditional CLI for Cisco Router deployment along w/ troubleshooting
  • Cisco ASR/ISR Ethernet WAN provisioning and turnup experience, working w/ telco’s and facility teams to bring new installations to full production status.
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting connectivity issues leveraging log data as it relates to firewall policy definition requirements and navigate through various security processes.
  • Assist engineering team in documentation, testing, implementation, and on-going support for our complex secured network systems.
  • Manage participation of daily, weekly, monthly agile ceremonies and other meetings to work towards agreed upon migration strategy and cutover dates.
  • Service Now CMDB, Incident & change management system for tracking of every change made to a Prudential network device and supporting new SSoT solutions to network & security challenges
  • Layer 3 & 4 Application Knowledge & Support: VM Ware Client, vCenter, VSphere, Connect Direct/NDM, Cyberfusion, MQ, FIX, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, Citrix ICA, RDP, Lotus Notes, and various customer specific applications.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields
  • Ability to coach others with minimal guidance effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills
Advanced experience and/or expertise with several of the following:
  • Proven experience in direct support of Extranet B2B & Internet DMZs Cisco Firewall ACLs, and network security for business-to-business corporate connectivity and demonstrating how you introduced new IaaC solutions that have defined their New Way of Working
  • Knowledge of Cisco Routers, Switches, Cisco ASAs, Cisco Firepower FTD, Cisco FMC, Cisco MDO, Cisco APIC, IPSec, S2S VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, SNMP, TFTP, VMWare protocols, Windows Networking, and various other apps as deployed in large complex firewalled networks.
  • Python, Json, Java, Bitbucket, Git, coding and/or DevOps experience
  • Cisco DevNet, Cisco network and/or security certifications
  • Service Now, Jira, Confluence, Visio, MS Office, and Microsoft O365 applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Available to work off hours and on weekends to implement changes within the Company's service availability windows and to address our international business partner's hours (9PM weeknights or weekends for some types of changes that must be managed outside of business hours)
  • Participate in on call support rotation for Tier 2/3 support
