- Interact with systems administrators and other IT operations and support staff for projects and timely troubleshooting of problems and incidents
- Manage security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems
- Manage all network equipment, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and UPSs
- Maintain audio and video conferencing capabilities and technology
- Generates and maintains network documentation.
- Hands-on experience in Cloud provisioning

- Patch management using Microsoft Intune
- Mobile Device Management (MDM MAM) setup and deployment
- Participate in disaster recovery and security audits on file servers, and related systems.
- Provides input and makes recommendations for network design standards.
- Partner to design and implement the connectivity, structure, and security in Microsoft Azure.
- Work with application development teams to develop Cloud Network Infrastructure.
- Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information
- Perform server and firewall security updates as necessary.
- Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports
- Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs
- Maintain adequate daily backups of local File Server
- Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed
- Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, printers and other network appliances
- Manage servers including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and network monitoring servers and their associated operating systems and software
- Excellent technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and a wide range of security technologies, such as Firewalls, identity and access management systems, cryptography, anti-malware solutions, automated policy compliance, and desktop security tools.
- Substantial knowledge in developing, documenting, and maintaining security policies, processes, procedures, and standards, strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of information security programs.
- Ability to plan, implement, and maintain strategic information security programs inclusive of information security policies, regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Ability to recommend information technology security and privacy solutions to address complex and emerging information security and privacy issues.
- Ability to work with network/system controls by understanding network architecture tiers and incorporating these principles into proposed system designs.
- Ability to provide information security solutions to reduce information security and privacy risks.
- Ability to provide security best practice recommendations including iso27001 and SOC 2 compliance
- Experience with computer network vulnerability testing and techniques.
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
- Understanding patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding the business impact
- Creating and managing spreadsheets, utilizing SharePoint, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other productivity software
- Knowledge and experience with email security technologies including antispam, security-based mail flow rules, secure messaging, and email validation (SPF DKIM, DMARC). Additionally, my current experience in secure email gateways is a plus.
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure security capabilities and Dev Ops
- Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and NIST 800-53.
- Excellent technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and a wide range of security technologies, such as network security appliances, identity, and access management systems, anti-malware solutions, policy compliance tools (vulnerability scanning tools), MFA, and desktop security tools.
- Experience in security awareness training and phishing simulation software. Process owner for the security awareness program.
- Industry security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CCSP are preferred.
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or similar, and/or 5 plus years equivalent work experience
- Industry certifications such as CCNP or Microsoft certifications preferred
- Azure infrastructure experience required
