Sourcing SpecialistThis position is responsible for the cost efficient procurement of goods and services across the enterprise. The position is responsible for the selection, development, negotiation, and execution of contracts that covers IT infrastructure needs, including enterprise wide software, ELAs, EAs, hardware, voice and call center infrastructure, and third party support services associated with Information Technology. The position will also focus on transformation of infrastructure into a cloud-based services using Amazon Web Services, and other cloud services providers and infrastructure as a service offerings.Responsibilities:
- Review drafts of responses to highly escalated complaints for the purposes of editing, fact checking and
- Manages procurement projects from inception to completion; leads negotiation teams and serves as a team leader or mentor to other procurement professionals.
- Works with internal clients to integrate procurement processes and policies into regular business practice, including assisting with accurate completion of internal Intake Form and compliance with procurement policies.
- Maintains quarterly savings reports.
- Maintains key relationship with supplier responsible for support in commodity areas as assigned. This includes issue identification and resolution, supplier performance against key metrics and contract management.
- Assists in the setting and implementation of overall strategic direction of commodity including areas for improvement and expansion.
- Creates, develops and monitors spend management programs.
- Develops and coordinates enterprise-wide Requests for Proposals.
- Assists the Sourcing Manager and/or Director with other duties and special projects.
- Desired working knowledge of eProcurement systems (e.g. Workday and iCertis-based workflows).
- Requires knowledge of procurement systems including sourcing, contract management and transactional systems.
- Requires knowledge of contract negotiation strategies and processes
- Requires excellent project management skills.
- Requires excellent negotiating skills.
- Requires detailed oriented, self-motivated problem solver.
- Requires excellent procurement consulting skills in order to assist business owner with business requirement definition and project requirements.

- Requires the ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in an "on-demand" environment.
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
- Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a business-related field.
- Requires 7 plus years experience in procurement or related field.
- Requires five + years in RFP development and contract negotiation
- Requires knowledge and experience working with AWS and AWS partners on engagement structure, contracts and pricing.
- C.P.M. or C.P.S.M. certification is a plus
- MBA a plus
