Our direct client is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to work in their Newark, NJ location. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with possible extensions. The candidate must have 7+ years of recent experience working on initiatives where the team was
deploying and hosting UI applications to AWS cloud. Must be able to do SQL Queries or some light Java Programming knowledge Please note that the consultant must be vaccinated against Covid19 and able to provide the vaccination card. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. Job Description: We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to develop scalable software solutions. This analyst will be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Technical Analyst, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. You should also be familiar with Agile methodologies. Ability to implement and test solutions based on business requirements for Actuarial data modeling. Responsibilities:- Work with development teams and product owners/managers to ideate software solutions
- Interaction with well-functioning databases and applications
- Test processing to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Create security and data protection settings
- Build features and applications with responsive design, single page applications.
- Write functional documentation
- Work with actuaries to elicit requirements for software development
- Proven experience as a Technical Analyst or similar role for at least 5 years or more
- Knowledge of deploying and hosting UI applications to AWS cloud
- Proven analytical track record and programming knowledge (Java, Python, SQL)
- Experience in process automation and event-chain processing
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Organizational skills
- An analytical mind
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
