Our client, an information technology company, is seeking a VP, High Performance Computing
Location: Newark, NJ Position Type: Full Time Job Summary: The High-Performance Computing (HPC) development team at LTX build and publish advanced analytics directly in the LTX trading workflows. The models that the team creates provide investment insights and operational efficiencies for the trading of fixed income securities. These analytics and models are key to our innovative trading platform. You will lead a of highly skills Data Engineers and Application Developers building a new real-time trading and market intelligence platform, from the ground up. You will work hands-on with the various specialists on the team to architect, develop, and support the various applications in our High-Performance Compute Environment. You and your team will work with Data Scientists and the Product team to build:- Pre-Trade analytics
- Market data feeds
- Data warehouse
- Streaming data systems
- 15+ years of development experience
- 5+ years technical leadership experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Data architecture and expertise with SQL and database schema design
- Python and/or Java
- Object-oriented design patterns
- Event-based systems and messaging patterns
- PostgreSQL
- Snowflake
- AWS
- Docker
- Orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Jenkins or other CI/CD system
- Understanding of Agile methodology
