The VP, HR Shared Services will drive and influence the organization to reimagining our Global HR Shared Services model. The ideal candidate has dedicated their professional life to amazing client delivery, operational excellence, lean principles, and leading multiple projects to the minutia. Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Global HR Shared Services (HRSS) strategy and initiatives. Improve and streamline HRSS organizational activities. Re-think how we provide services using technology, vendors, innovation, and resources, with a particular focus on digital journeys. Find opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance processes, increase quality and reduce operating expenses.
  • Continually identify areas where work can transition into HR Shared Services, analyzing the current process(es), designing and/or contributing to the "to be" process by collaborating with key partners and developing a plan for execution. Improve upon ways employees can reach us to feel we are accessible and inclusive (call center, case management, knowledge chatbots, etc).
  • Influence HR leadership to change and improve service delivery within any of the HR functional areas (Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, etc.). Lead the change efforts. Collaborate with other shared services functions to ensure seamless delivery of employee services (IT, Security, Finance, etc).
  • Design, implement, and monitor SLAs and KPIs and report effectiveness of processes and systems; benchmark against industry standard methodology. Continue to drive, strengthen, and scale efficiencies, with a focus on risk mitigation and enhanced controls of core operational processes
  • Lead and handle cross-functional projects to improve associate moments that matter, lifecycle operations, automation, and standardization. Oversees communication and change management.
  • Coaches staff on performance and professional development issues. Motivate staff to achieve efficiency and productivity. Conduct performance appraisals, interviews, and discipline/documentation, as needed. Ensure succession planning within team.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in HR. Specific experience with running a service delivery, operations, and compliance teams.
  • Experience with a multi-national organization and running multi-region operation centers
  • Specialist using Workday and ServiceNow (ADP and other HR tools helpful)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean, six sigma or similar process improvement certification
  • Project Management certification

Knowledge:

  • Deep expertise in HR Service Delivery models and enabling technologies
  • Ability to manage challenging stakeholders, build strong partnerships, and deliver high levels of client service
  • Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to build trusted and respected stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally and can manage these constructively
  • Excellent attention to detail, good judgement showing logical data-based decision making, and a hands-on approach
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively problem solve
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent with PowerPoint skills and ability to influence using concise communication skills.
  • Requires an in-depth working knowledge and understanding of HR legislation/employment law, principles, policies, and procedures.
