Role: Lead API Developer C# .NET

Location: Newark, NJ

Overview: Organization is actively pursuing a qualified API Development Lead to support the enterprise data program while architecting and implementing integrations with internal and external parties on both legacy and new platforms. This right candidate will be knowledgeable at application integration design and API adoption across the enterprise and with our customers and external partners. This role will contribute to and execute against the enterprise API strategy, including the definition of standard methodologies for design, testing, deployment, and operations. The individual in this position is knowledgeable in all aspects of distributed application architecture, including API, Web Service, and application security protocols

Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple Partners at a time, balancing business-level and technical conversations across different levels of the organization
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Evolving a future state application architecture that supports business priorities and objectives while being flexible so it can accommodate rapidly changing business requirements, evolving customer expectations, and technology evolution
  • Preparing and presenting potential technical solutions and advising the business on the technical and business value of the proposition
  • Providing architecture and technology support across a range of technologies including but not limited to Cloud, Mobile/Web frameworks, .net, SQL, TFS and Collaboration platforms
  • Keeping up to date on new technology, standards, protocols and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment.

Qualification:
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Financial Services experience (Mutual Fund background preferred) with a proven track record of delivering multiple projects on-time, on budget and within the scope
  • 7+ years experience in building scalable enterprise applications
  • 7+ years experience in building applications using one more programming language C# .NET programming (must)
  • 7+ years experience implementing Web Service Integration ( REST v2, SOAP) , APIs and microservices
  • Have Experience at Visual Studio 2017 professional/ Visual Studio 2017 Enterprise.
  • Expertise at Object-Oriented Programming, Web API using .NET Core
  • Knowledge in the following technologies Messaging, XML, JSON.
  • Experience in setting service and API direction, standards, and best practices
  • Experience at Source Code Version control using Microsoft TFS (Team Foundation Server)
  • Knowledge in SQL programming
