This role is primarily local, but will need someone in the office every once in a while. Being located in NJ is required. Looking for a resource with both Business Analyst and QA/System Tester knowledge and experience to work on the modernization of applications.This person will serve as a Business Analyst and QA System Tester. Responsibilities include defining requirements from the business, facilitating meetings, meeting notes, project documentation and testing to ensure requirements are met. Documentation will include: Requirements Traceability Matrixes, Activity Diagrams, Use Cases, Business Analysis Flowcharts, Requirements Documentation (BRD/FRD and TRD), Test Cases, Oversee Testing Acceptance, Functional, Regression, Integration and System Testing and defect tracking via Jira. Working with developers and system analysts on any open questions while working on test cases prep. Timely reporting of all critical milestones and slipping deadlines to Project Manager. Knowledge of working with any State department is desired but not required.

Required Skills

Documenting business, functional and technical requirements, 2 – 5 years
Documenting and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix, 2 – 5 years
Creating activity diagrams, use cases, scenarios, and business analysis flowcharts, 2 – 5 years.
Creating As-Is and To-Be business and technical models, 2 – 5 years
Facilitating JAD Sessions, 2 – 5 years
System testing, 2 – 5 years
Data Modelling, 2 – 5 years

Desired Skills

Knowledge of Jira, 1 – 5 years
Knowledge of IT Development Lifecycle, 2 – 5 years
Experience working in a State Agency, 1 – 5 years
