Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company is hiring a Lab System Engineer on a contracting basis.
Work Location: New Brunswick, NJ Summary: The Laboratory Systems Engineer will provide Application support for validated laboratory execution and data collection software systems. The positions will be part of a team to ensure reliable 24/7 operation of enterprise integrated Lab systems.Required Skills 1. A successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelors degree in an Engineering field with at least 3 years of experience preferably in the pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry. Experience with GMP, 21CFR Part 11 and lab IT system required.2. A successful candidate will have knowledge of laboratory automation technologies with emphasis on lab execution system (Preferably Biovia Smart lab LES and Biovia CIMS), Empower 3, Nugenesis. Must be Experienced with MS Windows Server, experience with SQL and Oracle is desirable. Knowledge of LIMS systems and Chromatography systems is very helpful. Experience building methods for execution in VelQuest with Biovia Method Builder or building consumable templates and workflows in Biovia Lims is helpful. 3. A successful candidate will possess: a. Skills and experience working in diverse, multi-disciplined work groups. b. Experience and/or substantial understanding of Lab system principles and common system vendors available products. c. Experience with automated laboratory systems and technology. d. Ability to work in a diverse work environment, and manage multiple priorities, and at times, be self-directed in a fast paced environment. 4. Excellent written and communication skill are required. 5.
