The practice will assist corporations across all sectors to accelerate their climate change & net zero goals. Wipro has a rich heritage in the Oil & Gas, Utilities and other asset heavy industries giving Wipro a leading edge in a market that many firms are only beginning to target. Wipro is serious about its own sustainability plans aiming to be Net Zero by 2040 and is in a fantastic position to advise the wider market on transitioning their business in a similar way. As a horizontal capability within our Domain and Consulting organization you will lead the ESG & Sustainability business by leveraging our Global client base and have access to World leading resources in Data, IoT & Engineering to build Sustainability strategies and work with organisations to implement. Deliverables:- Own the P&L and have sole responsibility for the direction & growth of the ESG & Sustainability consulting business
- Deliver YoY growth of the function
- Represent Wipro Globally generating thought leadership, content & attending major events such as CoP26 • Build a team with subject matter expertise capable of advising & implementing ESG & Sustainability strategy
- Engage with the wider Wipro business (Data, IoT & Engineering) to leverage relationships deliver a World leading ESG Consulting Business
- Position the function ahead of the market by understanding future market trends & provide innovative content and thought leadership
- Recognised as a thought leader/advisor/implementation expert of ESG solutions
- Deliver ESG solutions from inception to implementation
- Global thought leader in ESG & Sustainability with experience taking ideas and strategy to implementation & delivery
- Big4/Accenture/consulting experience which could be mixed with industry experience
- Experience running P&L
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive mentality
- Comfortable working within a complex, matrix environment
- Ability to work in a less structured environment when compared with Big4
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Good understanding of technology and its role within building ESG solution
- 15+ years Big4/Management Consulting experience ideally mixed with relevant industry experience
- 5+ years deep Sustainability and ESG consulting business experience with demonstrable projects and achievements across sectors and geography's
- 5+ years public and known thought leader within Sustainability and ESG communities including keynote addresses, white papers etc
- Experience running P&L
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive mentality
- Comfortable working within a complex, matrix environment
- Ability to work in a less structured environment when compared with Big4
- Comfortable with ambiguity
