Job Summary:
Growth-oriented CPA firm located in Chatham, NJ seeks experienced Full Time and Part Time (January - April), self-motivated experienced Individual Tax Preparer to complement our existing staff. Minimum 3 years of current experience preparing Personal Tax Returns. Some Saturday and Sunday hours required during Tax Season. Option for part time work after May.
Role responsibilities include facilitating and executing tax preparation for individual clients. You will work closely with our team doing tax preparation and bookkeeping to ensure our clients' needs are met at the highest standards. Ability to meet with clients is a must.
Job Duties:
Preparation of individual returns including multi-state and associated schedules.
Maintenance of clear and concise accounting and tax work papers.
Client interaction along with strong written and verbal communication are essential
Ability to work Saturdays and occasional Sundays during tax season (January through April) a plus.
Requirements:
Minimum three years of experience preparing tax returns
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, EA or CPA a plus
Professional, team player and approachable
Computer proficiency (esp. QuickBooks, Excel, Word)
