The Good Tidings Warehouse Manager often communicates directly with the owner, key personnel, venders and other resource personnel. His or Her primary efforts are to maintain the warehouse, direct the parts runner and keep our techs and trucks rolling. Additionally, and most importantly, works diligently to help launch the Good Tidings Franchise, quickly helping to grow it up to 10 million dollars in sales and 20 units per year though tireless and remarkable effort and innovations. Rewarded for dedication, discipline and massive willingness to do whatever it takes in a given moment to facilitate the company’s and franchisee’s needs, is handsomely rewarded through a solid hourly income, overtime and benefits.

We are looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to handle warehousing, distribution, shop and truck upkeep and back end operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt and storage of materials and goods and their distribution to our team of Technicians. While keeping the warehouse processes running smoothly and promptly, helps to contribute to the continued development of our national franchise. Big picture goal of applicant would be to parlay this warehouse position to one of a highly compensated 100k+ franchise associate.
Responsibilities
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
Facilitate the growth and development of the franchise model.
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operation.
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
Skills
Proven work experience as a warehouse manager
Good mechanical skills and proficiency with hand tools
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Leadership skills and ability manage staff
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
