Job Title : Data Analyst with P&C (Property and Casualty) Location : New Jersey (Initially Remote) Duration : Long term P&C Insurance Domain and LinkedIn Must Responsibilities: Identify trends and growth opportunities through analysis of complex data sets. Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques. Create reports and present them to the department heads. Integrate data from various back-end services and databases. Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary. Support the data warehouse to identify and revise reporting requirements. Identify opportunities to improve data and business processes utilizing Python, R, or C#. Executing full lifecycle of software development. Administer tests and implement new or upgraded software. Assist with strategic decisions on new systems and software. Form data management and governance processes. Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies. Filter and clean data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code issues. Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Skills: Strong SQL and Data Analysis skills, working knowledge of SQL best practices (e.g., schema management etc.) Professional proficiency in reporting packages, databases, and programming. Experience with SQL Server and one ETL tool like Informatica, Data Stage, SSIS etc Knowledge of Python, Py Spark is good to have Knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud is good to have Very strong analytical skills, including data mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization. Ability to identify trends and patterns in complex data sets. Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures. Knowledge of any reporting tools like Talend, Power BI is good to have Knowledge of Agile framework Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team structure, but also independently Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities Demonstrates analytical and systematic approach to problem solving Able to absorb on going new technical information, business acumen, and apply it effectively.
