The essential duties and responsibilities of the handyman-porter are the following:
The maintenance, repairs and cleanliness of a multistory building.
The daily cleaning of the lobby and all public areas, including the sidewalk. The handling and removal to the street of building trash and recycled items. Daily inspection of the entire building including mechanical rooms; management of the schedules and checklists for maintenance.
The candidate must have the skills and experience in painting, plumbing and electrical repair, and the ability to diagnose the nature of building problems.
