Well established Truck Leasing and Rental Corporation seeking a team player to join busy location in Newark. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an individual seeking an excellent opportunity in the trucking industry. We are celebrating over 65 years in business and still going strong!
As a yard worker your primary responsibility is to keep all trucks clean and ready or displayed neatly in the yard. You will also be driving our trucks to and from customers. Some job duties include, but are not limited to:
Inspect and prep vehicles for noticeable defects and damages.
Record the description of damages and list missing items on the delivery receipt.
Park new vehicles in assigned areas.
Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Manager
Pick up and deliver vehicles.
Pick up and deliver parts, personnel, and paperwork as required.
Cleaning and washing vehicles.
Clean license a MUST - CDL a plus
Mechanical background helpful
Minimal experience within a similar capacity
Ability to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers
Bilingual: Spanish a plus (not required)
Perform other duties as assigned.
