Job Description

Across dentsu, we're the leading total performance marketing solution in today's marketplace, and we're looking for a SVP, Head of Performance Marketing to join our progressive and amazing team. You will be highly visible for our business today, and will develop Performance Marketing for the future of our clients, agencies and industry. You have demonstrated balance of imagination and curiosity that is merged with expertise in all things performance marketing – activation, experience, data-fluency and outcome obsession.

You will be the service line lead for the US division of our Performance Consulting team, leading a diverse group of performance strategists and consultants. The group's central mission is to ensure and support the holistic orchestration of media, messaging and measurement. In addition to leading our Performance Consulting service line, you will be active in engagement across core clients and new business for multiple agency brands.

You will carry deep media expertise across performance and addressable media channels (search, display, social, video) and skills to unite brand and demand media. In addition to performance media, the SVP will carry unifying vision and fluency in all facets of performance marketing, such as content optimization, addressable ecosystems, and the like. You will be an expert for our clients and our group, and will demonstrate passion and a vision for the possible You will have ambition and desire to grow and partner with the best.

You will:

  • Be a major contributor and driver to evolve holistic vision for performance.
  • Central lead in setting approach to performance strategy for our agency, clients and teams.
  • Connect and guide client strategy to achieve outcomes, while infusing performance mindset into all major channels and facets of the agency.
  • Help processes and workflows to drive our holistic approach and consistency
  • Expertise in addressable and accountable media are musts for the role. This is a role to connect our clients goals to delivery.
  • Seek opportunities to improve and grow client business, affecting a broad reaching portfolio of clients at the agency
  • Be active in new business and creating performance leadership talent to support new business development.
  • Voice in the industry and for the agency in driving partnerships and expertise
  • Curate the development of future performance talent across the agency and externally
  • Influence and promote the development of our overall performance product
  • Identify the latest engagement points important for performance product and accountable to influence solutions, products that increase delivery and drive clients, agency and industry forward.

Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of experience
  • History of escalating agency roles in leadership capacity
  • Expertise in performance, addressable media
  • 8+ years managing team members of large hierarchical teams (20+ members)
  • Comfort working within matrix organizations
