Working with the largest care delivery organization in the world and start doing your life's best work.Primary Responsibilities:Initiates Clinical office operations and assists physicians with a wide range of healthcare services and procedures. Provides daily supervision of the support staff for the clinical area to ensure the smooth operation of the office

Oversees the daily clinical flow, schedules and functions, ensuring all site medical assistants provide quality medical treatment. When needed, train other medical assistants to improve performance and skill

Escort patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG’s

Administer injections and collect specimens

Document patient care using electronic medical record software

Schedule appointments, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork as needed

Current CPR card for Healthcare Professionals (BLS) or willing to obtain within 90 days

Graduate from a Medical Assistant program/school, and a Registered Medical Assistant or licensed Certified Medical Assistant

Current CPR card for Healthcare Professionals (BLS) or willing to obtain within 90 days

2+ years of back office Medical Assistant experience

Medical Assistant Sr. cross trained role to perform clinical and clerical duties.

Intermediate computer knowledge

Urgent care hours are 7:45am-8pm, work 4 weekends a month, open 365 days/ year, including major/ minor Holidays.
