Responsibilities Lead as Scrum Master and oversee project development with Agile meetings and ensure effective completion and delivery Create a collaborative team environment; partner with Agile Coach to provide constructive feedback for continuous agile improvement. Develop team norms and balance workload for onshore and offshore developers, testers and Product Owners. Promote Agile culture, values, behaviors, and principles across business, development and testing organizations Work closely with Product Owners, other scrum masters, business analyst and QA to progress along squad agenda Plan and conduct Agile meetings/ceremonies Sprint planning, host story grooming, daily stand up, test plan and test cases reviews, sprint demos, retrospectives etc. Review and manage backlog and in-progress items to ensure the latest work status is captured and updated as appropriate. Takes a lead role in overall release management, which includes end-to-end regression test coordination, ensuring SDLC artifact adherence, runbook coordination, and deployment support. Coordinate with partner technology teams on deployment preparations and execution (e.g., deployment script management, support team review and documentation, host deployment verification calls, and lead deployment issue resolutions). Maintain team metrics and report project statuses (e.g., velocity/burn down charts, financial status, issues/risks, etc.) on a regular basis to Product Owner, and to senior stakeholders. Takes ownership to drive through resolutions of issues or blockers, coordinate directly with other development/product teams on inter-dependencies or through scrum-of-scrum ceremony Monitor team performance and balance workload and help identify continuous improvement opportunities to help the team work more efficiently Partner with Agile Coaches to identify and implement team Agile training requirementsRequired Skills 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in a large complex banking organization or major consulting firm acting in a Scrum Master and project management capacity. Highly versed in Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross functional teams Demonstrated ability to partner and liaison between business users and a technical development team Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications. Proven servant leader - Must be able to garner respect from their team and offer solutions by getting into the details Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Hands on experience to develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents, including identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path Experience estimating resources and participants needed to achieve project goals Ability to proactively manage change in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency Experience in Agile project management software/tools (JIRA / Confluence preferred) Proficient with MS Office applications: Excel, MS Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPointDesired Skills Engineering Degree from a reputed institute PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification Previous experience with emphasis on cash management and payments experience
