Position: Identity and Access (IAM) Engineer Location: Oak Ridge, NJ Compensation: $105,000 - $135,000 + Up to 10% Bonus + Excellent Benefits Job Description:The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer is responsible for the planning, building, delivery and support of the IAM program.The IAM Lead will provide direction and guidance to the development, specifications and communications of the IAM application and architecture as well as provide in-depth technical consultation to the business units and IT Management and assist in developing plans and direction for the integration of information security requirements.Responsibilities:Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services to provide a strong IAM program that balances access with compliance and confidentiality.Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement.Foster an understanding of the need and application of the IAM system and facilitate decision making with the business users.Identify the broader impact of current decisions related to user access, data access and information security.Align IAM processes across the Organization and develop and document standards for organizational use.Co-lead an IAM selection process, evaluate existing and emerging technologies and tools in the selection of an IAM service offering for the business units.Understand business and information technology management processes and demonstrate advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and related standards.Provide overall over-site of Identity and Access Management staff, ensuring appropriate performance, training, coaching, and follow up.Build and nurture positive working relationships with business units.Identify opportunities to improve engagement with the business units.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in areas such as Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, etc.5+ years of experience in a similar role.2+ years in developing, implementing and architecting information systems.2+ years in technical architecture experience integrating identity management, access management and access governance software into clients' infrastructure and applications.1+ year of people management/supervisory experience.Identity Management familiarity in one or more of the following areas: Single Sign On Identity Federation Enterprise Directory Architecture and Design including directory schema, namespace and replication topology experience Resource Provisioning and process integration Identity & Access Governance including Role-Based Access Control, access request and certification User Life Cycle Management ProcessesStrong oral and written communication skills.Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently.Knowledge of banking terminology and processes preferred.Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) or Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP) certification preferred.
