This work will support a mix of internal and external clients. You will work with clients, product managers, architects, software engineers, and more to plan, design, develop, test, and implement impactful solutions that support companies with one to millions of employees.You will start your day on a scrum call to prioritize and track work. Within the team you work on, you will choose user stories to work within a sprint cycle. You will spend most of your day developing automation & testing. You will work on Selenium/Javascript/Cucumber test automation framework to create complex test scenarios before integrating different systems. Your role requires you to advocate for necessary changes to improve the end-user experience of our payroll products. Every three weeks, you will be involved in the release activities.To thrive in this role, you'll need to be an expert in automation testing using Selenium and Java/Javascript. You’ll need to be familiar with Java (Java 8 preferred) and have a firm grasp on Spring Boot & Javascript. You'll need to be familiar with open source tools such as Apache KAFKA & web technologies and have good understanding in server, database & storage technologies. Each sprint cycle could have a heavy front-end focus, a heavy back-end focus, or a mix of both, so you'll need knowledge on front-end, scripting, and back-end technologies. You will own the releases with your product features and be responsible for building out the plans, identifying problems, and solving them. Flexibility is a must since testing doesn't always occur during regular business hours.In this role, you will work closely with your team to deliver projects to success. You'll have a hands-on role developing automation, testing and deploying software solutions where you can leverage your expertise with code complexities. Learn more about ADP's commitment on our YouTube channel: http://adp.careers/DEIVideosWHAT YOU'LL DO:Here's what you can expect on a typical day:You'll start each day with a scrum, working in a team to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities while choosing user stories to complete. You understand that an agile QA environment requires flexibility. Working in three-week sprints, you must keep up with timelines and coding standards. You will also participate in other agile ceremonies, including scheduled sprint demos, where you will present your work to stakeholders.

Create & Test. You'll create test plans, test cases, and scenarios for large-scale, complex software applications. You will focus on the verification and validation of applications from an end-user perspective.

We work collaboratively, so you will communicate and collaborate with technical developers and multiple stakeholders for your products. You'll articulate clear and compelling reasons to persuade developers to make product changes for the end user's benefit.

You're always learning new codes and eager to figure things out as you learn.

Inevitable challenges will arise, and we'll rely on you to look for a solution.

Build Products. You will use your technical expertise to review your team's work and help your people excel in an Agile environment. You're proactive and hands-on. When you see a potential issue, you never leave things hanging and unfinished. When you and your team deliver a finished product, it's as polished as you could make it.

Experience. You have 5-8 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.

Besides the proven experience and technical products mentioned above and working in an Agile environment testing iOS and Android native apps, experience with some of these products may give you extra comfort in the role:

Experience with Protractor or Angular
