Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an AEM Developer for a Right to Hire assignment with one of our premier Hospitality Services clients in Parsippany, NJ. Responsibilities :

  • The Marketing Technology Delivery and Support team is responsible for the Global IT Strategy design to meet the strategic needs of the business. The team works closely with the Business and IT teams to evolve business needs across the globe into technology solutions that are delivered through the IT Roadmap.
  • The AEM Developer will help architect and develop applications for content management and digital asset management solutions to take AEM platform implementations projects through the entire life cycle.
  • The AEM Developers skills will include empathy, vision, communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management; strategic skills include product discovery; tactical skills include product backlog prioritization and management, personas, user stories, product validation techniques. Core to the position is solid technical understanding to be an integral part of a highly performant multi-technology and multi-vendor development/support team.
  • 65%: Build and maintain web applications using Adobe's Experience Manager CMS to include site architecture, custom components, workflow development, Digital Asset Management (DAM). Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps.
  • 15%: Build AEM application ensuring that the code follows best practice and industry standards.
  • 15%: Design and develop the business logic and backend modules of AEM.
  • 5%: Integrate websites with web analytics tools and analyze/report on analytics data.
  • Marketing technology operational health monitoring and reporting.
  • Presentation development and facilitation for business and IT teams.
Required Skills:
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in full cycle AEM implementations using version 6.2+ (development of CRX/JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, and OSGi frameworks, advanced dispatcher and CDN caching strategies, AEM Multi Site Manager and security best practices).
  • 4+ years building sites, templates, components, or integrations with Adobe Experience Manager.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience using Adobe Digital Asset Manager (DAM) integrating with Adobe Sites and enterprise asset management solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience in AEM component development, Asset workflow development, Schedulers, Metadata & Tag Management plus integrating AEM with other applications.
  • 4+ years of hands-on front-end development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
  • Integrations with all possible tools with AEM (Sites and DAM) including Target, Analytics, Dynamic media.
  • Provide technology solutions and translate marketing and website need into AEM recommendations and solutions to meet project goals.
  • Investigate and stay current on important new technologies related to digital marketing, to help push processes and techniques forward.
  • Use current AEM software releases and ensure governance practices are in place for global implementations.
  • Use Agile SCRUM to create solutions with high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Experience with decoupled architectures and setting up dedicated environments (development, QA).
  • AEM developer / Architect Certified Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, solve them quickly and well, and know when to rely on internal resources to assist.
  • Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices on topics such as personalization, cross channel marketing, mobile, data driven optimization of experiences.
  • Experience with digital commerce and or online retail.
  • Ability to work on complex projects.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and build solid relationships with individuals at all levels, in multiple geographies and business functions.
