Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Web Project Manager for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Consumer Products clients in Parsippany, NJ. Responsibilities :
- Conceive, manage, and guide team in improving project processes within a cycle of consistent review and improvement.
- Ensure projects and bi-weekly sprints are delivered as planned: on-time, within scope and budget, and are to exacting quality.
- Ensure prioritization of ongoing sprints is aligned with business strategy and delivered on-time against requirements.
- Creation of functional specifications and/or user stories against project, feature and maintenance backlogs.
- Manage bi-weekly development release cycle prioritizing product enhancements while simultaneously crushing technical debt including backlog grooming, sprint prioritization, and seeing sprints through to deployment and post-live QA.
- Oversee and provide proper QA/UAT testing for bi-weekly site releases including creation of test cases for more complex activations/integrations where needed. Responsible for post-release sign off.
- Communicate implementation status, share progress on deliverables, and report and escalate risks/issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the creative process by participating in brainstorming, assessing feasibility , and persistently ideating towards solutions.
- Liaise with digital media agency and provide support for campaign tracking and reporting.
- Lead Google Tag Manager updates with development partner.
- Implement A/B tests in Google Optimize.
- Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field of study.
- Technical background with web development experience, experience in using CMS tools and an understanding of Google Analytics for digital marketing.
- Strong knowledge of web and application development, capabilities & processes, web development technologies, technology vendors, and third party offerings.
- 5 years of relevant experience with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Ability to think quickly and creatively about problems and develop efficient solutions.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple, rapidly-moving projects.
- Familiarity with Umbraco, Shopify, HTML, CSS and Javascript.
- Familiarity with tools including Jira, Confluence, HotJar, Kissmetrics, GA360, GTM, SiteImprove.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills.
- Agile/Scrum or PMP certification preferred.
