Job Description:
Position Summary We are looking for a creative, seasoned, full-stack web engineer to build out and manage new applications using the latest standards, methodologies and frameworks. Successful candidates will have a minimum of three years' recent experience with the required skills listed below, with at least 10 years in overall IT experience.The engineer will be expected to:Be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party librariesUnderstand and convert macro level requirements into actionable tasksUnderstand the continuous integration and continuous deployment lifecycleUnderstand threat modeling concepts and how to implement themUnderstand accessibility standards and how to implement themAdhere to Enterprise Data Management StandardsDesign and implement the overall web architecture Responsible for designing and developing complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry, and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns. At this level, specializations start to form in either Architecture, Test Engineering or DevOp. Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements. Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements. Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Designs/develops/modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained. Designs/develops/maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance). Sets up and develops a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline. Automates manual release activities. Mentors other Software Engineers and coaches team on CI-CD practices and automating tool stack. Individual contributor. Required Skills- 10 years of overall IT experience
- At least three years' experience with: Angular
- Relevant back-end programming languages (C#)
- Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 (minimum)
- Experience with .NET Framework 4+ (and/or experience with .NET Core)
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC
- Familiarity with a relevant and globally supported framework-both front-end and back-end, if necessary (e.g., React )
- Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
- Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
- Fundamental knowledge of IT Service Management/ITIL processes and tools
- Proficiency with Git
- Experience working in a leadership capacity
- REST API connectivity programming concepts
- WCF and/or Web Services
- Ajax fundamentals
- Proficiency with IIS 7.0 or greater
- Appreciation for clean and well documented code
- Experience with mobile responsive designs
- Experience with Material, Bootstrap or Telerik Components
- 10 years of overall IT experience
