Job Description:

Quality Assurance professional who will be the leading the testing effort for large or multiple small/medium scale projects/programs sponsored by I&BST Tech Executives
  • Manage testing strategy of complex Wealth Projection Analytics including Retirement, Asset Allocation, etc. for strategic initiatives
  • Has understanding of Tax-Deferred and Tax-Savings investments and should be able to setup test harness for effective validation
  • Is a member of the Core Project Team working directly with Technology & Business stakeholders.
  • Manage test planning, drive test strategy and execution across all environments
  • Manages all testing efforts to ensure Production Readiness.
  • Is accountable and participates in all phases of testing deliverables (planning, data, testing goals, script creation, script execution, traceability, defect management, implementation support).
  • Is responsible for project's adherence to all Enterprise Testing Standards.
  • Communicates regularly with Senior Leaders via project meetings and status reports.

Required Skills
  • Good understanding of the Banking & Financial Industry with an emphasis on Wealth Planning
  • Responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes
  • Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously in fast paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools such as Quality Center, JIRA
  • Good understanding of SQL. Create / execute SQL scripts to extract test data from different data sources
  • Participate in triaging reported issues/defects and assist with resolving or escalating them as necessary

Desired Skills
  • Bank of America Consumer &/or GWIM Application or LOB knowledge
  • Understanding of full life cycle of testing process
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving Skills
  • Expertise in QA Tools and Processes
  • Ability to Identify test scenarios from the defined specifications
  • Ability to communicate with LOB and Technology teams
  • Experience with automation tools like UFT, Test Complete is preferred
