LOGISTICIAN (PMCCS-21-0544-F): Bowhead seeks a Logistician to provide support for the PMCCS contract at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. Candidate will support all logistics activities including preparation of program documents as required for Milestone Decisions (i.e., Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, ILS certifications, etc.), provisioning, support equipment and tools, technical manual development as well as validation and verification of the same, requirements on packaging, handling, storage, and transportation, and development of new equipment training. Essential functions will include: • Provides broad and in-depth level expertise/consultation services in Life cycle Logistics policies, procedures to Product Support Manager/ILSMs, systems and design engineers as well as project management leaders. • Ensures that the 12 product support elements are addressed/ integrated in the systems engineering, design, and project management planning and execution efforts. Ensures supportability analyses are identified, properly planned, resourced and conducted to influence the inherent design of systems as well as to leverage the support infrastructure in which system will function. • Participates in system design, Test & Evaluation/corrective actions reviews as needed. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required in a business field or technical field. A graduate degree is also desired but not required. • Must have knowledge of Army Regulations (e.g. AR 700-127) and the documentation requirements for DoD Milestones, Type Classification and Materiel Release is required. • Should have 5-10 years professional experience as a U.S. Army logistics and DoD acquisition logistics processes as it relates to ammunition and/or weapons systems. • Superior knowledge of other service/DoD acquisition processes and regulation may be considered. • A military background is preferred to understand the logistics implications at both the Soldier and Unit level. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
