Project Management Officer

DescriptionSAIC is seeking a Project Management Officer in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.Primary Responsibilities:Support direct fire armament systems and the mission of JPEO Armaments and Ammunition as the Single Manager for Conventional Ammunition.Support the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in managing cost, schedule, and performance of ammunition production programs.Prepare procurement packages and develop acquisition milestones to track contract awards and schedule performance.Ensure all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submissions are tracked, reviewed and approved for production.Assess and develop resolution to production problems, and collaborate efforts across the services.Prepare ammunition programmatic updates and brief management, contractors, and senior leaders as required.Participate in weekly meetings, program reviews and attend meetings at USG, contractor, and subcontractor facilities (travel appx 10% of time).#LI-BR1QualificationsRequired Experience and Education:6+ years experience in Program Management / Project Management and a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree and 4 years’ experience.Government acquisitions.Military and weapons / ammunition programmatic experience.US Citizen – No dual citizenship.Possess a SECRET clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
