- Experience creating detailed solution architecture documents for complex, multi-tiered Enterprise systems
- Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring
- Proven experience working with Cloud architectures such as AWS or Azure, with a practical knowledge of cloud and hybrid cloud implementations.
- Experience in working with open source code and frameworks with a focus on learning emerging technologies
- Well versed in distributed computing principles including micro/mini services
- Knowledge of container-based APIs using container frameworks such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience building CI/CD systems using Maven, Git, and Jenkins
- Working understanding of security principles
- Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and able to work independently
- Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills
- Insurance/Financial Services industry experience is a plus
