Our client, a pharmaceutical company, is seeking an Digital Capability Manager

Location: Princeton, NJ

Position Type: Contract

Job Summary:

The Digital Capability Manager - SAP is responsible for driving solutions to enable effective and efficient outcomes for the business. Through strong collaboration and a focus on business success, this person drives BUILD and RUN activities for the Supply Chain functionality associated to the SAP systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Part of the team that produces the deliverables as specified by Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to support the Production Planning, Forecasting and Supply Chain InterCompany Operations requirements globally
  • Deliver on all project timelines, project budget, and overall project quality
  • Work with IT Business Partners to understand business strategy and support IT strategy development
  • Participate in and provide input to IT platform strategy
  • Providing solutions by using the SAP S4 and other SAP applications, as well as related bolt-on, related tools, and integrations tools
  • Provide oversight and guidance to project teams and third party /partner development organizations for the Production Planning (Demand Planning/Supply Planning) area and related applications
  • Provide approval as necessary for third party and/or partner work in the SAP ECC ERP or related applications
  • Managing/Guiding the transition of all project work to the Accenture build and run teams
  • Provide oversight and governance for process design within SAP platforms in specific area.
  • Provide fluent level of oral and written presentation to influence Associate Director / Director and Executive Director

Required Skills:

  • Experience implementing SAP interfaces in a FDA and CGXP regulated environment
  • Experience managing projects or components of large projects
  • Part of the team that produces the deliverables as specified by Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to support the Production Planning and Forecasting requirements globally.
  • Work with IT Business Partners to understand business strategy and support IT strategy development
  • Participate in and provide input to IT platform strategy
  • Provide oversight and guidance to project teams and third party /partner development organizations for the Production Planning (Demand Planning/Supply Planning) area and related applications
  • Provide approval as necessary for third party and/or partner work in the SAP S4 ERP or related applications

Desired Skills:

  • Strong primary skills of SAP S4 or ECC 6.0 Production Planning, SAP Material Management and Procurement.
  • Strong secondary skills of IBP (DP, SP) functionality and/or Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration is preferred
  • Knowledge of related SAP areas such as Inventory Management (IM), Warehouse Management (WM), Quality Management (QM), Manufacturing (PP), Costing (CO), Sales and Distribution (SD) and Finance (FI)
  • Able to manage work across virtual teams
  • Able to effectively translate business requirements to a solution using the SAP ECC ERP system, bolt-ons to SAP S4 ERP, and related tools; Identifies and leverages synergies with other projects and/or processes
  • Managing/Guiding the transition of all project work to the Accenture build and run teams
  • Provide oversight and governance for process design within SAP platforms in specific area
  • Absorb new ideas and drive continuous improvement for operations and design of processes.
