Tittle: IT Procurement AnalystLocation: Princeton, NJ (Remote)Duration: 6+ months Job Responsibilities: Our client is seeking an IT Procurement Analyst to report to the Senior Director of IT Procurement and Contract Management. The role proactively manages key organizational IT spends in Europe and Asia (hardware, software and services), and associated suppliers to create P&L impacting value that is recognized by the Business Units and the organization.The Procurement Analyst role coordinates contract changes (including evaluation, negotiations, contract-management approval, physical update of contract, etc.), contract interpretations, and internal and external communication regarding the Agreement and the Provider relationship. A successful candidate will form the key interface between defined functions and the Provider, ensuring input (e.g. business and compliance requirements) and participation in decision making such as review and approval of deliverables or mitigating actions. Key Accountabilities: • Sourcing IT spends (hardware, software and IT services) as directed by the organization, largely for international locations.• Liaise with the customers (end-users) to understand their requirements and close them in the given time frame• Continuously assess the overall IT spend, identify and implement savings opportunities• Analyze the purchasing power of the organization and leverage it in effective sourcing strategies, through specification rationalization and regional volume consolidation• Ensure that the purchased services are delivered as per the contractual agreement (SLA, KPI, etc)• Will be responsible for tracking actual vs. forecasted savings targets, timely deliveries, Customer Satisfaction, opportunity identifications.• Will participate periodically in reviews with Global IT Category Managers to ensure strategies are aligned and pipeline activity is making due progress.• Serve as designated back-up for Primary Procurement Analyst Qualifications : • Demonstrated experience of Strategic Sourcing and Category Management for IT spend and knowledge and experience of managing multiple IT spend sub-categories• Information Technology global procurement experience desired (2+ yrs)• Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen and business judgment• Demonstrated influencing, communication, negotiation and presentation skills• Proven experience in business planning, project management and delivery of objectives• Demonstrated stakeholder/relationship management• Familiarity with one ERP or eProcurement tool (Ariba preferred)Looking for at least 10 years of overall experience.Be a part of the ConsultNet difference.
