BUSINESS ANALYST WITH SERVICENOW EXPERIENCEPRINCETON, NJ The candidate must be able to work onsite once the WFH policy is lifted, so local is preferred. Project Description:
- Understand and apply IT Service Management best practices
- Assist ServiceNow users across the enterprise with Change control and Release Management questions
- Provide support in hosting of Change Advisory Board (CAB) to perform impact analysis in order to minimize risk and disruption to the changes made production environment.
- Assess change readiness with feedback from the impacted stakeholders; Ensure that quality of the change conforms to the IT change policy
- Schedule the Change Advisory Board meetings when required.
- Identify opportunities and deploy efficiencies within the Change Control & Release process.
- Work closely with Service Providers to ensure adherence to the Change Control & Release process
- Monitor and govern the health of the Change Control & Release process for adherence, performance & Quality through Reporting and Analytics
- Assist the Change Process Owner in process health monitoring, languishing tickets to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Assist in training IT personnel on ITSM processes and tools as required
- Organize and execute User Acceptance testing for a large-scale project as well as small releases; HP ALM experience preferred
- Develop and or maintain reference materials, knowledge articles and related training materials.
- Persuades and influences others with effective verbal and written communication.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 5+ years of related experience
- 2+ years' experience with the ServiceNow platform is required.
- 3+ years' experience in ITSM processes such as Change control & Release Management
- ITIL foundation certificate preferred
- Experience with enterprise level ITSM and reporting tools are significant assets
- Working knowledge of HPALM preferred
- Strong Interpersonal skills and highly developed communication skills for effectiveness in face-to-face meetings, presentations and in written form the ability to effectively build alignment
- Builds trusting relationships with key stakeholders in internal teams, which enable seamless working relationships, and drives effectiveness and high performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define and execute business analysis for business processes and technology implementation including aspects for both business process improvement and lifecycle governance.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills, process knowledge and lateral thinking
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple, diverse priorities and exercises diplomacy
- Strong relationship management skills in order to create energy, excitement and personal investment in others
- Strong skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Enterprise level ITSM reporting tools
- Strong skills in building and maintaining successful engagement and relationships with key stakeholders to ensure large scale IT project is supported and successfully delivered.
