Strategic SummaryThe Manufacturing Strategy Realization and Portfolio Management Office (SR & PMO) is responsible for creating and delivering the Company Manufacturing & Supply divisional strategy. The team designs, executes, and monitors processes required to deliver on the Manufacturing Division (MD) strategic portfolio commitments. This includes integrating key strategy elements needed to transform the business with ongoing project/initiative elements required to run and improve the business. Finally, the team provides project, program, and/or change management support for prioritized projects within the divisional portfolio.The Associate Strategy & PMO Director is a dual role, with the primary responsibility being to drive the realization of the Expedition 25 strategy and the secondary responsibility to act as the Chief of Staff to the VP, Manufacturing Strategy, Business Development & Alliances (MSBD&A). This individual must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be hands-on. This role requires the ability to distill large quantities of complex data into simplified reporting and actionable measures, strong problem-solving skills, rapid disciplined decisions, and prioritization of work. The position must also demonstrate strong partnership and communication skills to enable interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the development of internal strategic capabilities through interaction with external experts

Utilizing analytics to drive strategic insights, including evaluation of secondary data sources and participation (when possible) in selected external conferences and symposia

Collaborating effectively with Enterprise level teams, functional areas, and support functions to drive project delivery.

Synthesizing and articulating the MD PMO execution strategy to senior management and translate it into execution to project teams.

Analyzing data and providing holistic, end-to-end coordinated assessments, targeting the audience with the necessary level of detail

Providing program management for division-wide projects as needed - transformation projects

Identify and prioritize important trends via external benchmarking and align with functional partners to ensure contemporary knowledge of industry best practices and drive recommended actions

Act as Chief of Staff to the VP, Manufacturing Strategy, Business Development & Alliances (MSBD&A) and the Leadership Team.Organize and facilitate MSBD&A leadership team meetings and townhalls

Directly support all communications to be delivered by the VP, MSBD&A and the Leadership Team

Collaborate with team members to track metrics and manage organizational reporting

Represent MSDB&A at relevant meetings and forums

EducationBachelor degree required | Advanced degree preferred (MBA)

Ten years working experience, with two years working experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare-related industry

Proven leadership skills spanning both strategic and operations roles

Demonstrated experience in coordinating and project managing large, complex, cross-functional/cross-divisional projects and portfolios of projects

Ability to work in ambiguous situations, formulate a plan and drive outcomes

Strong and persuasive communication and presentation skills at all levels (executive, customer, individual contributor) as well as interpersonal skills with the ability to develop high-quality working relationships both internally and externally

Strong business acumen and analytical skills, and the ability to identify and escalate scenarios that may represent risk exposures for the company

Working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes (pharmaceutical experience preferred)

PreferredDemonstrated strong cross-functional team leadership abilities and experience

Demonstrated experience in developing strategy and ability to think strategically

Knowledge of regulatory /industry requirements to work in a tightly regulated environment
