Understanding of Clinical supply chain and clinical trials understanding including Google Cloud Platform & GMP is preferred but not required.The business improvement team runs workshops and different events for the GCS organization. This person will be responsible for coordinating travel, setting up, breaking down workshops. Providing itinary information to attendees and ensure no detail is missed. This role is 30% administrative. The other 70% of the role is focused on process improvement - collecting data, analyzing data, creating powerpoints and visuals to represent data.SummaryThe Analyst, GCS Continuous Improvement, will perform lean/six sigma analyses for Continuous Improvement activities across the organization supporting a CI culture. The role will participate in tactical improvement initiatives, kaizen workshops, and cultural activities and will support the roll out of significant metrics as key performance indicators (KPIs), contributing to the overall governance of the performance oversight in GCS (Global Clinical Supply). The role will participate in the education of the organization in continuous improvement and lean methodology, project management, change management, knowledge management, quality by design, and appropriate risk management in our processes through coaching and mentoring belt candidates and trainees for the community of practice. In addition, the Analyst, GCS Continuous Improvement, will prepare workshop facilities, arrangements, travel, and tool/ presentation preparations.ResponsibilitiesThe Analyst, GCS Continuous Improvement, will be accountable for supporting the analyses of continuous improvement activities in GCS such as baselining key metrics and key performance indicators, researching current state, developing current state process maps or value stream maps, both within GCS and across our partner organizations, including, but not limited to, process improvement, and change management efforts. Additionally, the incumbent will coordinate workshops including accommodations, preparation work, and travel in preparation for client group engagement within GCS.Primary activities include, but are not limited to:Key Performance Indicator mapping and analysesValue Stream and Process mappingProcess design/improvement projects/improvement initiatives across the organizationAnalytics & Metrics - Develops and maintains performance, quality, and compliance related analytics and metrics (reports, dashboards, Key Performance Indicators/KPIs)Support workshop preparations of facility, accomodations, travel, as well as presentations and analysesManage follow-up on improvement action plansEducation, Experience & SkillsBachelor's degree or 2 years professional experience required. A LSS green belt certification or equivalent experience is highly preferred.Understanding of Clinical supply chain and clinical trials understanding including Google Cloud Platform & GMP is preferred but not required.
