ORGANIC CHEMIST RAHWAY, NJ Required Skills:
- A PhD in Chemistry with 0-1year experience or an MS degree in chemistry with a minimum of 5 years of experience in organic synthesis including synthetic methodology, catalysis, and / or total synthesis.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Synthetic organic chemistry experience.
- Experience in industry pharma/Agro-chemical.
- Significant experience in synthesis, purification and analytical characterization including HPLC, MS, and NMR.
- Experience in DOE design and process characterization.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when documenting experiments.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Willing to work in a collaborative manner as a part of a team.
- Solid critical thinking skills.
- Proven track record of solving problems.
- The Process Research and Development department of the Clients Research Laboratories has a research chemist position available in the Rahway, New Jersey research facility.
- It is a laboratory-based role to support process development.
